Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry have established themselves, their YouTube channel, and their 3x weekly newsletter, The Publish Press, as perhaps the most trusted collection of resources on the internet today to learn about the business of being a creator. From interviews with the world’s biggest creators to thoughtful commentary on the latest happenings in the creator economy, Colin & Samir have built a brand synonymous with their mission: to educate and empower the next generation of creators.

Colin & Samir have built significant brand equity in a simple yellow circle across their core brand and Creator Support podcast. When designing Creator Startup, we leveraged that brand equity, while also creating a distinct visual language that differentiated it from their other media-focused properties.
Additionally, we refined the overall visual language for the brand family, including new logos, wordmarks, and podcast art into a design system so that their team can consistently apply the brand across all mediums.

Between their flagship YouTube shows, The Publish Press, and now Creator Startup, Colin and Samir are building the go-to place for creators to learn how to build great businesses. To support this goal, we worked with them to expand their website beyond a simple landing page to a robust platform that includes a variety of ways for fans to engage and learn.
Colin & Samir mix studio-production quality with friendly, welcoming, and educational content. We supported that with a ‘behind-the-scenes’ vibe that balances motion and interactivity.
The most important thing we look for as creators are trusted partners so that we can stay in our creative process. Course Studio is one of those partners to us.

While YouTube is, for so many creators, an incredible way to amplify content and form a connection with an audience, it does have the drawback of not allowing content creators to directly benefit their own websites from an SEO vantage.
We created a resource hub for Colin & Samir that includes SEO-rich content for some of their most viewed episodes, allowing their website to leverage some of the benefit when these episodes are searched for via different search engines.

For the first time at this scale, Colin and Samir were launching a paid product to their community under their own brand. We needed to be extremely thoughtful in terms of how a launch was positioned, and completely threw out the playbook for a conventional online course launch.
This meant no aggressive email campaigns and no ‘hard sell’ pitches - we worked with Colin and Samir to create an authentic communication strategy that clearly articulated the value of the program and aimed to do what they always do: deliver value at every interaction with their audience.
